GROUP 64 PRODUCTIONS 

Group 64 prides itself on producing high quality  productions, where our cast members can feel part of something truly amazing! As our home is Putney Arts Theatre we are able to perform our wonderfully professional productions as part of a working theatre!

We offer young people the chance to act, direct, write, stage manage, design, operate lighting and sound and do just about anything and everything it takes to mount a theatre show! By involving members in every aspect of theatre making, we aim to not only provide them with a greater love of theatre but they also develop an understanding of what it takes to create a theatre show! 

We produce 3 main stage productions a year, our 2011 productions were Peter Pan, The Wind in the Willows and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - Part 2, alongside a yearly Cabaret in our studio space. Group 64's older members are also given the opportunity to develop their own projects - we are currently in the third year of our Young Directors project. We also took part in the National Theatre Connections programme with a wonderful performance of the Beauty Manifesto at The Rose Theatre in Kingston.

 Previous G64 productions have included: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, The Wind in the Willows, Peter Pan, The Beauty Manifesto, His Dark Materials parts 1&2, Bugsy Malone, The Twits, The Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland - the Musical, Sparkleshark, Property of the Clan, Arabian Nights, The Forest Where Kit Went, Planet Phoenix, Marvellous Myths and Grimm Tales.
