Tartuffe

By Molière; translated by Richard Wilbur

Tuesday 31 October - Saturday 4 November

Molière's classic satire. The lives of Orgon, a wealthy merchant, and his family are turned completely upside down with the arrival of Tartuffe, a religious fraud posing as a spiritual guide.

As Orgon rejoices in his new-found faith, the scheming Tartuffe contrives to drive away his son, marry his daughter, seduce his wife and, finally, imprison Orgon himself!
